This is an earlier photo that has a caption that reads “Lodge In Capps.” Capps is a small town off of Capps Road (also known as Highway 392) near Harrison, Arkansas. If anyone has any information about this photograph we would be glad to hear it.
The Harrison Motor Court was located in Harrison, Arkansas until the early 1990s on Main Street going toward Hudson’s Grocery. Cornerstone Medical Clinic is currently located in this location.
One of many popular exhibits at the Boone County Heritage Museum is the Duncan Parking Meter exhibit. This is an ad for the Hotel Seville. This ad appears to possibly be referring to the hotel’s grand opening so it probably was published in 1929. We are not sure which newspaper this is from.
Here is the cover for the program for the formal grand opening of the Hotel Seville. It opened in 1929 in Harrison, Arkansas. It is located across from North Arkansas College Center Campus (also known as the Durand Center).
